Why do window regulators break and stop working?

Generally, the life span of the window regulator is 5 ~7 years, but it depends on below reason:

  • OE Design

 - Weak structure design caused the window regulator with a short life span.

  • Different Environment

 - The temperature would be extreme in some countries, and the thermal expansion and

   contraction caused the window regulator failure.

- The hot and cold weather caused the window regulator with a short life span.

  • Different Driving Behavior

       - Frequency of opening and closing the window.

       - Car door being slammed often.

- Open the window when the window has frozen up.
